ANALYTICAL CHEMIST

Our company is also an industry leader in development, scale-up, and turnkey solutions design for large-scale molecular purification processes for food, dietary supplements, and pharmaceutical clients. Currently, we have openings for analytical chemist positions at both entry and senior levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  •         Conduct QC testing of the company’s product portfolio, incoming materials and intermediates as needed following SOPs
  •         Conduct analytical method development and validation
  •         Provide technical support with regards to chromatography and sample preparation related products and service
  •         Systematic and consistent documentation of QC tests and method development and validation activities
  •         As needed provide analytical support for process development and scale up

REQUIREMENTS

  •         B.Sc. degree in Chemistry with > 3 yr of industrial experience
  •         M. Sc. Degree in Chemistry with 0-3 yrs of industrial or academic experience
  •         Experienced candidates with at least 5 years of experience in GLP/GMP setting and/or preferably a Ph.D. degree will be considered for a senior level position
  •         Adequate extra curriculum in analytical chemistry and chromatography (U/HPLC, sample prep, mass spectrometry) will be considered a plus and can substitute experience requirements
  •         Familiarity with GMP/GLP or similar manufacturing/laboratory standards
  •         Experience with HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, and in sample preparation is a plus
  •         Experience working in QC Laboratory Environment is a plus
  •         Requires independent and analytical thinking  to solve problems
  •         Good communication and presentation skills
  •         Ability to work on multiple projects and across functions
  •         Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
  •         Must be able to work in teams and individually
  •         Knowledge of Microsoft suite and familiarity with chromatography data systems
