The Swan F series SMB System (Figure 1) is an automated continuous liquid chromatography system designed for preparative-scale purification of chemical compounds. The Swan F series systems are a way to run SMB on a benchtop.

  • Four different systems to meet different flow rate and output requirements

    module, powered USB hub, 8-position adjustable column stand for holding various size columns,

  • Various empty columns sizes with different types of materials available to meet different separation
    requirement. All sizes, designed and manufactured by Orochem Technologies Inc.

  • Optional method development services for conversion of single column data to continuous
    chromatography parameters on request

The Swan F10

The Swan F10 system is the smallest lab scale system offered by Orochem. The Swan F10 system is
designed to be used on a benchtop with a variety of small sized columns for lab scale applications.

The KingFisher C Series System

The KingFisher C Series system is designed for a small footprint to be used on a benchtop with a variety of medium to large sized columns for pilot scale. Offered are two different variants of The KingFisher C series, one which has the same 8 column configuration as all of the other Chrome Prep systems, and one which has a 16 column configuration for larger projects.

The Concord T Series Systems

The Concord T series are custom designed SMB systems for commercial scale purifications. They are two different variants based on input capacity. The Concord T1000 is design for up to 1000 ton per annual, while The Concord T1500 is for up to 1500 ton per annual.

Symphony Chrome Pump

The Symphony Chrome Pump (Figure 4) is designed for use with the The Swan F and The KingFisher C Systems. The specifications for each type of pump are listed in Table 3. High-quality materials and rugged design make this pump a reliable performer over years of service.

The Symphony Chrome UV-VIS DCTR Detector (Figure 5) is engineered for seamless integration with Symphony Chrome SMB Systems.

Available Columns and Stationary Phases

Orochem provides a variety of different column sizes for all the Symphony Chrome SMB units. Columns can be sold filled with Orochem’s stationary phases, or empty so that they can be filled separately. Column sizes are listed in Table 3. Contact us for more options.
Orochem synthesizes and manufactures achiral and chiral stationary phases. For achiral phases, Orochem provides both silica based and polymer base, normal phases, reversed phases and ion- exchange phases. Orochem’s stationary phases are listed in Table 4. Contact us for more options.
