EZ Pure Cobalt Resin
Orochem EZ Pure Cobalt Resin is a high-performance affinity resin for obtaining high-purity his-tagged fusion proteins from cell lysates, under native or denaturing conditions. The affinity resin is charged with cobalt, which binds to his-tagged proteins with high specificity compared to nickel-charged resin. The resin is available in several package sizes of resin slurry, pre packed centrifuge-ready spin columns, chromatography cartridges, and 96-well filter plates for high- throughput applications.
HIGHLIGHTS
- High Capacity – bind up to 10mg of 6xHis-tagged protein per/mL of resin
- Specificity – exhibits high affinity for his-tagged proteins and low non-specific binding of host protein contaminants
- Versatile – purify proteins using native or denaturing conditions
Orochem EZ Pure Glutathione Resin
Orochem Glutathione Resin is an affinity chromatography matrix designed for easy, one-step purification of recombinant glutathione S-transferase (GST) fusion proteins and other glutathione binding proteins from cellular lysates. The resin is available in several package sizes of resin slurry, centrifuge-ready spin columns, chromatography cartridges, and 96-well filter plates for high-throughput applications.
HIGHLIGHTS
- High Capacity – binds at least 40mg of purified recombinant GST protein per mL of resin
- Versatile – works well to purify GST-fusion proteins from bacterial lysates or use with pre-purified GST-tagged proteins to pull down protein interactions
EZ Pure Protein A High Capacity Resin
Orochem Protein A agarose is a versatile, high-performance affinity resin for antibody purification. The resin is prepared using coupling chemistry which has many advantages over traditional methods of Protein A immobilization. Protein A is immobilized using the reaction between sugar residues of the agarose beads and lysine residues on Protein A via simple amide bonds. Unlike typical cyanogen bromide (CNBr) immobilization, the method does not introduce any new chemical groups that could cause undesired nonspecific binding and produces a stable, essentially irreversible bond. The result is a high capacity affinity resin that retains functional immobilized Protein A for specific purification of antibodies.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Recombinant Protein A – immobilized Protein A is ideal for polyclonal IgG purification from human, rabbit, pig, dog or cat serum
- Inert and stable – superior manufacturing method immobilizes Protein A by charge-free, leach-resistant covalent bonds, resulting in low nonspecific binding and enabling multiple uses without decline in yield
- High capacity – Protein A agarose has a dense load of immobilized Protein A (5mg/mL) providing a binding capacity greater than 34mg human IgG/mL resin (~16 to 17mg mouse IgG/mL resin)
EZ Pure Protein G High Capacity Resin
Orochem Protein G agarose is a versatile, high-performance affinity resin for a variety of antibody affinity purification methods. The affinity resin consists of recombinant Protein G that has been covalently immobilized at high concentration onto high- quality cross-linked 6% beaded agarose. The resin is prepared using coupling chemistry which has many advantages over traditional methods of Protein G immobilization, using the reaction between sugar residues of the agarose beads and lysine residues on Protein G via simple amide bonds. Unlike typical cyanogen bromide (CNBr) immobilization, the method does not introduce any new chemical groups that could cause undesired nonspecific binding and produces a stable, essentially irreversible bond. The result is a high-capacity affinity resin that retains functional immobilized Protein G for specific purification of antibodies. In addition to binding other isotypes just as well as Protein A, Protein G shows stronger binding to human IgG3 and mouse IgG1. Protein G is recommended for affinity purification of mouse antibodies (including IgG1) in addition to most IgG isotypes from human (particularly IgG3), goat and sheep samples.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Recombinant Protein G – immobilized Protein G is ideal for polyclonal IgG purification from mouse, human, cow, goat, and sheep serum, including mouse IgG1 and human IgG3 isotypes
- Inert and stable – superior manufacturing method immobilizes Protein G by charge-free, leach-resistant covalent bonds, resulting in low nonspecific binding and enabling multiple uses without decline in yield
- High capacity – Protein G agarose has a dense load of immobilized Protein G providing a binding capacity ≥ 50mg human IgG/mL resin
EZ Pure Streptavidin Agarose
